Ok, it's offical, I am becoming known as the lady who makes the boobie cakes around here. I want to make something cute...stripes or polkadots and flowers...no more boobies.

Edit to add:

Wow, I can't believe this was featured as a Daily Deviation today. I logged in and saw all the favorites and comments and I was so excited I woke my husband up to come see. Thank you all so much for the wonderful comments!

If anyone wants to make a cake like this, I used a 12" heart and the Wilton sports ball pan. I trimmed a little bit off of the sides of the heart to make more of an hourglass silhouette. I use marshmallow fondant, which is tasty and extremely affordable. Here's the recipe that I use: [link]

Corset Cake by ~DarkMindsEye. Absolutely must be seen in fullview because as the suggester said, "When I saw it, I only wanted to say: 'wow! Nice Corset! I want something like this,' then I was: 'omg! This is a cake!!'" ( Suggested by =Docali and Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe )

How did you get that texture on the corset? Also it looks fabulous <3 I want booby cake.

I used a placemat that had a bumpy texture. Roll the fondant out, dust the placemat (or impression mat) with cornstarch on a pastry brush, then put the mat on the fondant and go over it with a rolling pin.

Mmm, it looks both sexy and delicious! I really love the detailing on the "leather."

Thank you!

For some reason, "anatomy" cakes are always easier than a regular cake. On this particular one, I was having trouble with humidity softening the fondant, and it tore after I put it on the boobs. That's why there's a necklace there, to cover up a couple of rough spots.
